Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu today presented the Prime Minister Shram Awards to 338 workers at a function in New Delhi. Minister of State for Labour & Employment, Santosh Kumar Gangwar was also present on the ocassion.

Addressing the gathering, the Vice President said that agriculture and industry are like the two eyes of human being which need to be protected.The Vice President also stressed upon the need for create wealth so that it can be distributed equally among the people.

The event was attended by the Labour Ministers, Labour Secretaries, Labour Commissioners of all the State Governments/Union Territory Administrations, several Central Ministries/ Departments, as well as ‘Prime Minister Shram Awardees and their families’.
