Chief Vigilance Commissioner (CVC) PL Gupta met Governor NN Vohra at Raj Bhawan here.

Gupta briefed the Governor about the special efforts being made by the J&K State Vigilance Commission to dispose of all pending enquiries and to enhance the accountability of the administrative machinery.

The Governor advised the CVC to speed up the process so as to ensure transparency was introduced in the functioning of the public institutions and corrupt elements, particularly those occupying high echelons, were dealt with effectively.
