The Department of Extension Education, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), celebrated Teacher’s Day with great enthusiasm. The teachers, students and the staff of the department gathered to mark this occasion, which commemorates the birthday of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a great teacher, who was known for his vital contribution towards education system of India.

Dr J.S. Bhalla, Head of the department, paid rich tributes to Dr S. Radhakrishnan.

The students expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the teachers for their valuable guidance and inspiration. The function was also graced by Dr R K Kalra, former head of the department. In an informal gathering, the students and the teachers enjoyed the tea together. The function concluded with good wishes and blessings of teachers for their students.
