Stir against book to continue: SGPC
Amritsar
The SGPC on Saturday announced to hold a meeting of Sikh organisations to discuss the issue of the alleged distortion of Sikh history in Class XII textbook on November 9.
At the conclusion of a protest launched by the SAD, SGPC chief Gobind Singh Longowal said the agitation would continue till people responsible for “blasphemous” act were brought to book.
He said during the meeting, they would chalk out a strategy to counter the “malicious” agenda of the Congress government to target Sikhs.
Earlier, Damdami Taksal head Baba Harnam Singh Khalsa addressed the protesters.
