The Punjab Agricultural University has entered into agreement with Wahla Mechanical Works, Amritsar, Dewan Agriculture Works, Sirhind, Channy Agro Industry, Nabha, Hardev Agrotech, Patiala and Lotey Industry, Patiala for the commercialization of the PAU Super SMS Technology. Dr Navtej Singh Bains, Director Research, PAU and the representatives of the companies signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations, in the presence of the Vice Chancellor, Dr B.S. Dhillon. A total of 57 MoAs have been signed by the university in this regard. Dr Dhillon congratulated the proprietors for sharing responsibility of environment friendly paddy straw management.

Also present at the occasion were Dr J.S. Mahal, Director Extension, Additional Director of Research, Dr Ashok Kumar and Dr S.S. Chahal from the Technology Marketing and IPR Cell, PAU.
