CM Flying Squad raids RTA offices across state

Intensifying its drive against corruption, the Chief Minister (CM) Flying Squad today conducted raids at all offices of the Regional Transport Authority (RTA) in the state and seized the record for investigation.

While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that the drive would continue to scrutinise the record and in view of this, all RTA offices in the state would remain close tomorrow.

The spokesman said that people had been urged to cooperate as they might feel some inconvenience but assured that it would prove to a big step towards eradicating corruption at all levels.

Karnal: A team of the CM Flying Squad led by DSP Baljinder Singh today raided the office of the Regional Transport Authority here and checked documents. The team reached the office around 11am and the raid lasted for nearly two-and-a-half hours.
