DAV-08 beat Spartan Clut
Chandigarh 09 Dec: In continuation of 2nd day of Chandigarh Junior (boys &girls) and Senior (men &women) State Volleyball Championship in sports complex sector 7, Chandigarh. In Junior boys section DAV-08 beat Spartan Clut in state three sets by 25-16, 25-11, 25-20 and in the second match DAV Model School-15 beat YFC-27 by 25-15, 25-10, 25-15. The 1st semifinal match DAV-8 beat Athletic Club-7 in 4 sets by 25-21, 22-25, 25-15, 25-20 and in 2nd semifinal DAV Model Sector-15 beat Punjab University Campus in state 3 sets by 25-12, 25-14, 25-20. The final match in Junior boys section will be played between DAV, Sector-15 and DAV Sr. Secondary, Sector-08 at 9AM tomorrow morning.
In Junior girls section first match DAV-8 beat Hospytek club by 26-24, 25-15, 25-16, while in 2nd match Hospytek club beat GMSSS-26 (TM) by 25-17, 28-26, 25-12 and in 3rd match Athletic Club-7 beat DAV-8 by 25-16, 25-21. The result in Junior girls section are:- 1. Athletic Club-7 secured 1st position, DAV-8 at 2nd position and Hospytek Club secured 3rd position in the Championship.
In Senior Men Section sports complex-46 beat Moti Ram School-27 in state three sets at score 25-12, 25-12, 25-15.
In Senior Women section Athletic Club-7 defeated Hospytek Club by 25-8, 25-10, 25-15. The other matches of the first day of the championship are in progress.
Tomorrow the final match in Junior Boys section between DAV-15 and DAV Sr. Secondary School-08, will be played at 9 AM and in Senior both section (men & women) semifinals will starts 9.30 AM onwards and finals in the evening 4 PM.
