Hooda gave reservation on wrong facts, says Saini
Kaithal
Kurukshetra MP Raj Kumar Saini today hit out the Congress and said that then Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda gave reservation to
some castes on wrong facts and it failed to stand legal scrutiny.
“I opposed reservation to a particular community only on this basis,” he said while addressing a public meeting at Siwan village in the district
amid tight security this evening. He said that he still stand by his statement that there should be 100 per cent reservation in the government
jobs and all castes should get their share as per their population. “This will be a true social justice and every family will get at least one
government job,” he said.
Without naming the Jats, he said that it was a mockery that those very people who ruled the state for decades were now seeking reservation.
He said that there were flaws in MNREGA and due to irregularities and shortcomings in implementation of the scheme, it failed to achieve the
targeted objects.
