Invitations were extended to the shopkeepers around Sri Darbar Sahib today to celebrate the birth anniversary of Sri Guru Ram Das Ji, the fourth Patshah, the founder of Sri Amritsar Sahib. On this occasion the intimate member of the Shiromani Committee S. Jagsir Singh Mangeana, Member Harpal Singh Jalla, Personal Secretary to Shiromani Committee President Bhai Gobind Singh Longowal. Mahinder Singh Ahli, Manager of Sri Darbar Sahib. Mukhtar Singh himself arrived and handed over an invitation letter and laddu prasad to celebrate Prakash Gurpurab.

Mr. Mahinder Singh Ahli congratulated the shopkeepers on the occasion of the 4th Patshah Ji’s Parkash Gurpurab and urged them to do their part to make the Gurmat Samagam memorable so that the country In order to make a good impression on the sangats arriving from abroad, their respective shops should be decorated and special care should be taken for cleanliness. He said that it was our good fortune that Guru Sahib was a resident of Varosai. Therefore, it is our duty to pay homage and respect to Guru Sahib, the founder of the city. During the meeting, the shopkeepers assured full cooperation to the SGPC officials and expressed their commitment to cleanliness, lighting and service to the Sangat from outside.
