Chandigarh: A first ever mock drill in South Asia was conducted on early warning of Earthquake at New Secretariat, Government of Haryana, Sector- 17, Chandigarh on 21st December 2017 at 10 am by NDMA, SDMA Haryana and other stakeholders.

These agencies were conducting the mock drills on post earthquake scenario. It was to check how we are prepared to handle before severe earthquake strikes and we have only few seconds to act. A specific and regular training and awareness is needed among the occupants and rescue teams for this.
