NASA will send a robotic spacecraft to neighbouring star system Alpha Centauri in 2069 in search of alien life

NASA has reported plans for an interstellar mission, to look for life outside our close planetary system.

The US space office intends to send a mechanical shuttle to neighboring star framework Alpha Centauri in 2069 – the 100th commemoration of the primary moon landing.

.

Alpha Centauri, which is “just” 24.9 trillion miles from Earth, comprises of three stars: Centauri A, Centauri B, and Proxima Centauri.

It has been the subject of extraordinary logical and open intrigue as far back as an Earth-like planet was found circling Proxima Centauri a year ago.

Known as Proxima b, the planet dwells in Proxima Centauri’s “livable zone”, where temperatures are sufficiently gentle to allow fluid surface water.

Regardless of whether this could be accomplished, the voyage would even now take 44 years, which means the shuttle would not achieve Alpha Centauri until the year 2113.

So far people have just made one shuttle that has effectively left our close planetary system – the Voyager 1 make, which was propelled in 1977.

Notwithstanding having less power than an iPhone, Voyager 1 has given astounding new bits of knowledge into the planets and moons inside our own nearby planetary group.

It is right now almost 12 billion miles far from Earth, and is going at a speed of 38,000 mph – under 1% of the speed of light.
