A cultural musical evening was organized at the Faculty Club of Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) in which the wards of the scientists participated in singing and dance competitions. Scientists and their families participated in big number in this evening. Dr V.S. Hans, Estate Officer, PAU, was the chief guest. He said such programmes motivate the youth to come forward and unleash their talent. They also shape their personality and boost their confidence, he added. Dr Hans congratulated the organizers and exhorted them to make this programme an annual feature.

The President of the Faculty Club, Dr K.S. Saini said the winning children would be awarded prizes on Lohri function. The children would also get an opportunity to participate in the Lohri function. Competitions in table tennis, badminton, carom board, etc. will be held before the function.
