Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the culmination of the month long Mahajandesh yatra launched by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. The state is due to face elections later this year.

The aim of this outreach programme is to take the achievements of the last five years to the people. The yatra spanned nearly 4000 kms covering 32 out of 36 districts.

Union minister and senior BJP leader Rajnath Singh flagged off the Mahajanadesh yatra from Amravati. Union Minister and senior BJP leader Nitin Gadkari participated in the yatra in Nagpur.

Heading to Nashik, PM Modi in a tweet said, Under CM Devendra Fadnavis-es stellar leadership, Maharashtra has seen unparalleled progress and stability.

Prime Minister paid floral tributes to Chatrapati Shivaji. His descendant Uddayan Chatrapati also welcomed Prime Minister Modi. Addressing the gathering, Prime Minister said that he was blessed to be a part of this yatra.

Prime Minister hailed Devendra Fadnavis as an able leader who has no comparison. He said that the Chief Minister’s report card speaks for itself.

Enumerating the achievements of his government over the last 100 days during the public rally in Nashik, Prime Minister Narendra Modi firmly asserted that his government did not make empty promises, and is determined to fulfil them. Calling the public,real judges of government’s performance, he said that the first 100 days were a trailer for upcoming years.
