CHANDIGARH : The mortal remains of sepoy Pargat Singh who was martyred in the Rajouri sector of J&K on 23 DEC 2017 were flown in today to the Ambala Airforce Station. His body draped in National flag was extended full military honour as per military traditions by the officers and troops of Ambala Airforce Station. His body was handed over to his relatives and moved for cremation to his home town in Karnal under a military escort. Sepoy Pargat Singh belonged to Ramba village of Karnal. He is survived by his wife Smt.Raman Preet Kaur and a five year old son. He served for eleven years until his martyrdom in the unprovoked cease fire violation by Pakistan in Rajouri sector on 23 DEC 2017.
