The Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Rana K.P. Singh today greeted the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of Parkash Utsav of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

In his message on the eve of Gurpurab, he said Guru Nanak Dev Ji was a great philosopher and spiritual ambassador who guided the humanity to attain salvation by spreading the message of love, compassion, oneness of all mankind and one God who dwells in everyone.

Recalling noble thoughts of the founder of Sikhism, the Speaker said, ‘Let us follow the path of peace, compassion and selfless service shown by Guru Nanak Dev ji.’
