28 TEAMS PARTICIPATE IN CHAMPIONSHIP

CHANDIGARH,
The 7th Steel Strips Group National Bridge Championship got underway with fanfare today at Aroma Hotel here today. A total of 28 teams from all over India are participating in the championship.

The inauguration was done by Mr. R.K. Garg – Chairman Steel Strips Group and Sponsor of the tournament. Among others present of this occasion included Mr. K.R. Lakhanpal (Ex. Chief Secretary Punjab Government & President of Punjab Bridge Association, Mr. H.S. Dhariwal President, Chandigarh Bridge Association, Mr. Kuldeep Khanna Honourary General Secretary, Punjab Bridge Association, Col. Gobinder Singh Honorary General Secretary Chandigarh Bridge Association, Mr. M.L. Pangotra Tournament Director and many other dignitaries.

On 1st Day after 2 Rounds – Top 10 Teams with score are- Steel Strips – 1 (39.33 points), Delhi Blues (35.75 points), R.S. Mishra Allahabad (35.02), PBA-2 (30.33 points), Steel Strips – 2(29.60), Spartans(28.95), Dr. Sanghi (28.00), Rajputana (25.66), Slammers (23.69) and Fusion Chandigarh (20.85).
