351st Guru Gobind Singh Birth Anniversary being organized under the supervision of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at Patna
Chandigarh: Guru Gobind Singh Ji was born in Patna and this year his 351st Parkash Divas is being organized by Bihar Government in Patna Sahib. Bihar Chief Minister Sh. Nitish Kumar ji is organizing this event under his own supervision. Thousands of pilgrims from all over the country are reaching Patna Sahib on this occasion. Janata Dal (U) Punjab unit President Malvinder Singh Benipal told that for the convenience of the devotees, the Punjab and Haryana governments have provided free buses and rail service. This will help the devotees reach safely. The Bihar government is fully prepared to welcome the pilgrims. Tent City, langar Hall and Samagam Pandal have been prepared for the convenience of the accompaniment. He told that the way Punjab and Haryana governments has helped devotees, we want Himachal, UP, Uttarakhand, Uttaranchal, Jammu & Kashmir, Delhi, Chhatisgarh, Jharkhand and other Governments to provide the same service to the devotees.
Malvinder told that the pilgrims who will reach Bihar from their own vehicles will be allowed free toll till the end of the program in all the ways. On the similar grounds and ways other governments are also being requested to omit tolls on the way to Patna sahib lying under their respective state and center government jurisdictions. He said that in these gatherings, Jathedar Gurbachan Singh ji of Akal Takht Sahib is specially coming and according to the order issued from Akal Takht Sahib, this samagam is being celebrated on December 25, 2017.
He has imposed the duty of party workers to prepare the accompaniment to participate in these gatherings throughout Punjab. On this occasion, Balwinder Singh, Hardeep Singh, Narendra Pal Singh, Badru ji, Praduman Garg and Harakiran Jeet Singh were present. Along with this, Malvinder said that Gurmati Samagam dedicated to the martyrdom of the younger sahibjadas of Mata Gujjar Kaur is also being done in these days in which their martyrdom will be bowed.
