Calgary – A 91-year-old elderly Sikh was attacked in Calgary, Canada. The incident took place in North East Calgary on March 16. The victim’s name is Harjeet Singh Rai. His family condemned this attack and has demanded justice. Meanwhile, Calgary MP Deepak Oberoi ordered an investigation into the incident. He said that such an attack on the Sikhs is a matter of concern. He said that the Sikhs need to be aware of such attacks.

Oberoi said that the incident occurred on March 16 in the car parking of a Supermarket. Harjeet Singh went in the market. When he came near his car, a white man around 45 years of age, came and started punching him.The white killed Harjeet Singh’s fists. Oberoi said he fell on the road.

Calgary Police arreated the attacker from the place of incident. Harjeet’s family said that they have never seen or met the attacker before. They expressed gratitude for the people who helped Harjit Singh on the spot.Harjit Singh said his family is living in Calgary for 35 years.
