TRAINING ORGANIZED FOR NEWLY RECRUITED GRS
EXPERTS APPRISE THE GRS ABOUT THEIR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In order to give further impetus to the implementation of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) scheme the Rural Development and Panchayat Department today organized the training for newly recruited Gram Rozgar Sewaks (GRS) in the District Administrative Complex.
During the training the experts from the department gave comprehensive training to the newly recruit GRS, who would assist the department in better execution of developmental works. The GRS were provided the technical knowhow of performing their work of effective monitoring and execution of works, especially to be conducted under the MNREGA scheme, efficaciously. The GRS from all the 11 blocks of the district were apprised about their duties and responsibility for performing their work meticulously.
The GRS were informed that MNREGA could act as a game changer for the district by ensuring holistic development of the rural areas. They were asked to ensure optimum utilization of this scheme which would provide 100 days job to people on one hand and further propel the pace of comprehensive development of the villages on the other hand. The GRS and other staff of the department was asked to ensure that development works started by the government were executed in a flawless and effective manner.
