Two terrorists have been gunned down in a brief encounter in Khunriyal area of Lolab Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to reports, security forces intercepted and fired upon two terrorists who were traveling in an automobile.

Earlier there had been firing in the forest area of Khunriyal, which later stopped. It is suspected that these terrorists were fleeing from earlier encounter site.

The slain terrorists are Bilal Ahmed and Zuhur Ahmed. Forces have also recovered the weapons looted initially from them.
