Abhimanyu dares Hooda to debate

Calling former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda as “the leader of untruthful people”, Finance Minister Capt Abhimanyu has dared him for an open debate on the state’s financial management, his claims of Haryana being No.1 during the Congress rule and the performance of the BJP government in the state.
Addressing a press conference here on Friday, Capt Abhimanyu challenged Hooda to participate in a debate at the Vidhan Sabha or any university across the state.
On being questioned about Hooda’s allegation that the BJP regime had failed to do anything worthwhile in the state, the minister retorted that they had indeed not been able to force farmers to sell their land in distress, like Hooda used to do during his tenure, thus swindling the hapless farmers and benefiting his aides.
He advised Hooda to verify the facts and figures before issuing factually incorrect statements and levelling wild allegations. In response to another query, Abhimanyu termed Delhi Chief Minister and AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal an “irresponsible” leader.
