Army chief General Bipin Rawat on Friday reviewed operational preparedness and security situation in the Valley and Kargil region during his visit to Jammu and Kashmir, the Army said.
The Army chief visited Kargil Sector and Srinagar today, an Army official said.

He said Gen Rawat reviewed the operational preparedness and the security situation in the Valley and Kargil, and in Ladakh region of the state.
