To mark the 350th birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, a symposium and exhibition will be organized at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) on December 21, 2017 at 10.30 am. The programme will be based on the theme Sri Guru Gobind Singh: Contributions to Humanity. Dr Baldev Singh Dhillon, Vice-Chancellor, PAU, will deliver his welcome address. In addition, guest speakers namely Dr Harpal Singh Pannu, former Professor, Punjabi University, Patiala; Dr Jasvir Singh Sabar, former Professor, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar; Dr Balwinder Pal Singh, Head, Department of Economics, GHG Khalsa College, Gurusar Sudhar; and Dr Sarabjit Singh, Professor of Agricultural Journalism, PAU, will speak on life and philosophy, Appe Gur Chela, Manas ki Jaat Sabbe Ekke Pehchanbo, and Zafarnama: Chardikla Da Sandesh, respectively.
