The Govt. of Punjab has decided to keep open the world renowned Virasat-e-Khalsa at Shri Anandpur Sahib to the visitors on 24th&25th December, 2017. Shri Shivdular Singh Dhillon, IAS, Chief Executive Officer of Virasat-e-Khalsa informed that in view of the state level functions being organized on 24th December and on the occasion of celebrations of the 350thbirth anniversary of the tenth Guru Shri Guru Gobind Singh ji on 25thDecember, it was decided in the meeting by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Punjab,Capt Amrinder Singh that the renowned museum showcasing the proud history of Punjab shall remain open to the visitors on Sunday, the 24th December, 2017 as usual and also on Monday, the 25thDecember, 2017. Further, Sh. Dhillon also informed that it was also decided not to charge any fee during these two days from any type of visitors visiting the museum including the scholars from whom a paid pass fee is normally charged for conducting detailed study of the museum by them.
